Jakarta, Tangerangtalk.Online - Football enthusiasts in Indonesia are expected to engage in a ticket battle for the highly anticipated FIFA Matchday showdown between the Indonesian National Team and the 2022 FIFA World Cup champions, Argentina, on June 19, 2023, at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta. The Chairman of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI), Erick Thohir, has announced the ticket sales period and prices on Monday, May 29, 2023, in Jakarta.

Erick Thohir explained that tickets can be purchased on June 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2023, through the official PSSI website and tiket.com. The ticket prices range from Rp600,000 for Category III, Rp1,200,000 for Category II, Rp2,500,000 for Category I, to Rp4,250,000 for VIP West and East categories. Erick Thohir stated that a total of 60,000 tickets will be available for this match.

Special benefits are provided for customers of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI, the official partner of PSSI for FIFA Matchday. They will have the opportunity to purchase tickets earlier on June 5th, 2023. "We will start the sales on June 5th exclusively for BRI customers who have sponsored the event. We want to provide the best service to the community," said Erick.

During the press conference, Erick Thohir requested support from the public, and he expressed the association's intention to bring more international-scale matches to Indonesia next year. "In addition to matches that improve our ranking, there are also matches that test our bravery," he said.

Achmad Solichin Lutfiyanto, the Compliance Director of BRI, who was present at the press conference, added that BRI customers can purchase match tickets using BRI Credit Cards, Online Debit, and BRI Virtual Account (BRIVA). Specifically, payments through BRIVA can be made through BRI ATMs, AgenBRILink, and for more convenient transactions, through the BRImo Super App.

Solichin also explained that BRImo is a digital banking service provided by BRI, accessible to all segments of society. He mentioned that ticket purchases can also be made through the BRImo Super App. BRImo offers more than 100 features, ranging from basic banking transactions to features that facilitate customers' financial transactions, such as paying electricity bills, purchasing tickets, buying phone credits, and even personal financial management.

BRImo has become a popular digital banking application among the public, with transaction volumes reaching Rp1,201 trillion in the first four months of 2023, marking a 77% year-on-year increase as of April 2023. Additionally, the number of transactions has soared by 92.1% year-on-year, totaling 863 million transactions. The number of BRImo users has also reached 26.27 million, reflecting a 55.46% year-on-year increase.
